GCC leaders stress the importance of standing united

WAM Riyadh, Dec 20th, 2011 (WAM) -- The Riyadh Declaration issued at the end of the 32nd Summit of the GCC leaders earlier this afternoon has emphasized their understanding of the changes, challenges and dangers which threaten the re-drawing of the situations in the region and which target the bonds that brings them together. His Majesty Sultan Qaboos took part alongside the GCC leaders in the opening of the 32nd Summit of the GCC Supreme Council in Riyadh yesterday. At the beginning of the session, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz al Saud of Saudi Arabia, gave a speech during which he welcomed the GCC leaders. He urged them to move from the co-operation stage to the union stage and go forward with the GCC states towards broader horizons.

The Middle East is set to run out of IPv4 addresses in the first half of 2012, according to Axel Pawlik, managing director of RIPE NCC, one of five Regional Internet Registries (RIRs) providing internet resource allocations, registration services and coordination activities for the internet on a global basis.
